Filling the Gap in Financial Aid
Undocumented students are ineligible for federal financial aid and face limited opportunities for scholarships and grants. CASO fills this gap, ensuring students can afford essentials like tuition, books, fees, and campus housing—so they can focus on learning, not just surviving.

Promoting Equity in Education
Education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their immigration status. CASO levels the playing field, ensuring that undocumented students—many of whom come from historically underrepresented and underserved communities—have the opportunity to succeed in higher education.

Investing in Future Leaders
The students we serve are resilient, motivated, and determined to give back to their communities. With your help, we can empower these future leaders to reach their full potential and make meaningful contributions to society.

Strengthening Diversity and Inclusion
Undocumented students bring unique perspectives and experiences that enrich college campuses and communities. By supporting CASO, you help foster diversity, inclusion, and belonging in higher education.

Your generosity can help change lives. Every dollar you give helps an undocumented student take one step closer to their dreams of earning a college degree and creating a brighter future for themselves and their families.

Please consider making a donation today to support CASO’s vital work. Together, we can ensure that no student is left behind, and every dream has a chance to thrive.

Testimony

Currently, CASO has not initiated any legislative efforts for In-State Tuition or specifically for DACA recipients. However, we are working with local Immigrant Rights groups that organize public informational sessions and will need volunteers to speak during legislative sessions. Bills we are considering include, but are not limited to: Driver's licenses for undocumented immigrants, support for bilingual and duo-language programs, healthcare, landlord/tenant rights.

Sign up to testify during legislative hearings or to receive E-Mail updates on any changes or updates to the Rhode Island in-state tuition bills and the status of DACA and the DREAM Act.
